Churriana Market

The stalls cover the basics well. You'll find fresh fruits and vegetables, fish and seafood, meat and poultry, cheese and dairy, and freshly baked bread. Local specialities are also on offer, including honey, olive oil, wine and spirits, nuts and dried fruits, and spices and herbs. There's a food court area inside, so you can grab a coffee or a bite without leaving the building.

Churriana is a quiet neighbourhood on the southwestern edge of Malaga, so staying near the city centre gives you easy access without being too far out. Malaga City Centre puts you close to transport links, and the AC Hotel Malaga Palacio is a solid pick with good connections to the wider city.

If you'd rather be closer to Churriana itself, the area around the airport corridor works well, especially if you're combining the market with an early flight. Torremolinos is just a short drive away and has plenty of accommodation at reasonable prices.

The market is at Plaza Mayor 6 in the Churriana district, close to Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport in the western part of the city. Bus lines 9 and 10 connect Churriana to central Malaga.
