Europa Street Market
Twice-weekly open-air market with around 170 stalls on Avenida de Europa. Open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9am to 2pm.
Europa Street Market is one of the larger street markets in Malaga, setting up every Wednesday and Saturday from 9am to 2pm on Avenida de Europa in the Carretera de Cádiz district. Wednesday brings around 167 stalls, while Saturdays have 170. Bring cash, as most stalls don't take cards. Get there early for the best selection, since stalls start packing up well before closing time.
What you'll find
One side of the market leans towards clothing, footwear, and leather goods, while the other has fresh fruits and vegetables from local farms. You'll also find jewellery, handicrafts, antiques, and second-hand books spread throughout. Gift items and accessories fill the gaps between the larger stalls.
There's a café on site and a seating area with food stalls if you want to grab a coffee or a snack while you browse.

Where to stay in Malaga
Staying in the historic centre puts you within easy walking distance of the Europa Street Market and most of Malaga's best sights. Try Vincci Selección Posada del Patio for a stylish central base, or Soho if you want something a bit more laid-back with good cafés and restaurants nearby.
If you prefer to be right on the seafront, AC Hotel Málaga Palacio is a solid choice with great views and easy access to the market on foot. Book early in summer, as the city fills up fast.
