Street Markets in Los Barrios

Arrive early, ideally soon after 11am, to find the best selection of fresh produce and to avoid the midday heat. Both markets wind down by early afternoon, so plan your visit accordingly. Bring cash, as many smaller stalls may not accept card payments.

Saturday is the busier of the two days, with the Los Barrios Street Market at the Recinto Ferial drawing the bigger crowd; Sunday's farmers market is quieter and better suited to a slower browse. For markets further afield in the province, see the Cadiz province page.

Los Barrios is a small industrial town, so the Town Centre is the easiest base, putting you within walking distance of both markets and the main amenities. If you're planning to see more of the surrounding area, Campo de Gibraltar gives comfortable, convenient access to Los Barrios and the neighbouring towns.
