Where to stay in Alaior
Alaior is a small inland town, so accommodation options are limited, but staying in Town Centre puts you within easy walking distance of the local market and the town's quiet streets. If you'd prefer more choice, the nearby coastal resorts of Son Bou or Cala en Porter are just a short drive away and have plenty of hotels and apartments.
For a comfortable base with easy access to Alaior and the rest of Menorca, Son Bou is a popular option, especially in summer when beach-side hotels fill up fast, so book ahead.

The Alaior Night Market runs weekly and focuses on crafts, jewellery, clothing and footwear, giving it a character distinct from the daytime food markets. The Alaior Polished Things Market is another weekly craft-focused event, with stalls dedicated entirely to handmade goods.
The Alaior Street Market is the largest of the six, with around 30 stalls selling clothing, footwear, handicrafts and jewellery. Unlike the other markets, it runs seasonally rather than year-round, so visits are best planned for the spring and summer period.
