The market is busiest in the early morning, so arrive by 10am for the best selection. Bring a bag or basket for your shopping, and bring cash as not all stallholders accept cards. If you'd rather be close to the harbour and the city's older market streets, the old town around Ferrol Vello is a good pick. The hall opens early and closes mid-afternoon, so a night nearby means you can be at the counters as soon as the doors open.
