Ecomarket

Founded in 2015 by a collective of producers and consumers, the Ecomercado is run by an association dedicated to agroecological farming and responsible consumption. Alongside the stalls, the market holds workshops, tastings, and barter activities linked to environmental care. It's one of the few places in Córdoba where you can meet the growers and producers behind the food directly.

Córdoba's municipal food markets run Monday to Saturday year-round if you need fresh produce on a daily basis.

You'll find certified organic fruits and vegetables, Córdoba olive oil, artisan honey, sourdough bread, and natural cosmetics. Some stalls carry pottery and handmade crafts. All exhibitors are small producers or cooperatives from the Córdoba region, so the range changes with the season.

Staying in the historic centre puts you within easy reach of Cordoba's markets and main sights. Try Hotel Maciá Alfaros for a comfortable mid-range option, or look for places around Judería if you want to be right in the heart of things.

For something with more character, Parador de Córdoba sits on the edge of the city with great views and easy access by taxi or bus. Wherever you stay, aim to be on the same side of the river as the Mezquita and you'll find everything within comfortable walking distance.

Ecomarket takes place on Avenida del Gran Capitán in Córdoba's city centre. The area is well served by city buses, and the walk from the historic quarter takes around 15 minutes. Street parking is available nearby.
