Street Markets in Periana

The Periana street market runs every Wednesday from around 9:00 in the morning along Avenida de la Constitución. With roughly 15 stalls, it's a compact open-air market where you'll find clothing, footwear, flowers and plants. Payment is cash only.

For a bigger market day, head to nearby Vélez-Málaga, the main town of the Axarquía, which has several markets throughout the week. Other nearby villages like Riogordo and Colmenar also hold weekly markets on different days. You can find more about the area on the official Andalusia tourism site.
