Street Markets in Villanueva del Trabuco

The Villanueva del Trabuco street market sets up each Wednesday at Plaza del Prado, the heart of the village. Around 25 stalls sell fresh fruits, vegetables, bread, nuts, dried fruits, and clothing. It runs from 9:00 in the morning and wraps up by early afternoon, so get there early for the best selection.

Plaza del Prado is also where you'll find local shops, including butchers selling homemade chorizo and morcilla. If you're exploring inland Malaga, the nearby town of Antequera has a larger market scene worth checking out.
