Municipal Markets in Granollers

Across Granollers' three municipal markets, you can buy fresh fish and seafood, locally-raised meat, seasonal fruit and vegetables, artisan cheeses, charcuterie, and bread. Each market also has cafes and food stalls where you can enjoy prepared meals and drinks while shopping. The largest of the three, Granollers Municipal Market, runs to 30 stalls.

Visit in the morning, ideally before 10am, when selection is best and the markets are busiest with locals. Bring a reusable bag or basket for your purchases, and consider going mid-week if you prefer a quieter atmosphere. All three markets trade Monday to Friday and stay quieter on Saturday, when only two of the three open, and none trades on Sunday.

Centre is the most convenient base for market visits, with shops, cafes and transport links close to all three halls. Either puts you within easy reach before the markets' 7.30am opening and their early 2pm close.
