Street Markets in Pineda de Mar

Food is the backbone of all three: fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and poultry, fish and seafood, cheese and dairy, and prepared foods to eat on the spot or take back to an apartment. The non-food half is just as broad, with clothing and textiles, footwear and leather, flowers and plants, and handicrafts. Wednesday is the day to plan around, with two of the town's three street markets trading and the 175-stall Centre market among them. Trading is finished by about 1pm, so a mid-morning arrival gives you a full hour or two rather than a rushed last look at picked-over crates. Friday is the quieter option, a single market and an easier browse.
