The San Javier market day that draws the biggest crowds is Thursday, when the weekly street market sets up on Calle Narciso Yepes with around 45 stalls of clothing, leather goods, handicrafts and jewellery. On Wednesdays, a separate street market runs in the coastal neighbourhood of Santiago de la Ribera along Avenida Patrulla Águila. Sundays bring the La Paloma street market on Avenida de Pinatar, which also carries antiques alongside the usual clothing and accessories.

If you're staying nearby, markets in Los Alcazares and San Pedro del Pinatar are just a short drive around the Mar Menor coast. For a bigger selection, head to Cartagena where you'll find several large municipal and street markets.

You can check official event and market schedules on the San Javier tourism website.
