Oropesa del Mar's markets are spread across the town rather than sitting on one square, so check which one you are heading for before you set off. The rest of Castellón province is within easy reach if you want to build a week of market mornings.

Staying in Centro puts you within walking distance of the town's markets and the seafront, which matters when the stalls open at 9am and are gone by 2pm. For a beachside base with more choice of accommodation, Playa de la Concha is a short walk or drive from the centre. A car is useful but not essential for the central markets.
