Municipal Markets in Marbella

Both markets stock an excellent range of fresh fish and seafood, reflecting Marbella's Mediterranean location, alongside quality meat, charcuterie, fruit, vegetables, and artisan bread. The larger of the two, Marbella Municipal Market, has 40 stalls. You'll also find cafes and prepared food stalls inside, perfect for a quick bite after shopping.

Visit early in the morning, ideally by 10am, when the markets are freshest and least crowded. Bring a reusable shopping bag and cash, as some stallholders prefer it. Monday is the busiest morning and Saturday the quietest. The markets are closed on Sundays, so plan your week accordingly.

For easy access to both halls and the daily street stalls, Old Town (Casco Antiguo) is within walking distance of the Plaza de los Naranjos.
