Municipal Markets in Mataró

Across Mataró's markets you'll find fresh fish and seafood, seasonal vegetables and fruit, quality meat and charcuterie, artisan cheeses, olives and local bread. Several markets also host cafes and prepared food stalls where you can grab breakfast or a quick snack.

Visit early in the morning, ideally before 10am, when the markets are busiest and have the best selection of fresh products. Bring a reusable bag and some cash, as many smaller stallholders may not take cards. The Purísima Concepció market is your best bet for a full Monday to Saturday shopping experience.
