Toro Municipal Market

The market occupies a brick building with a triangular layout, positioned directly in front of the Convent of the Mercy nuns. It has served the town for generations, drawing locals each morning for seasonal produce and daily essentials.

The 15 stalls cover the full range: fresh fruit and vegetables, butchers with local meat and poultry, fishmongers, cheese and dairy, and fresh bread. On Saturdays, an outdoor extension sets up around the building where local growers bring fruit, vegetables and seasonal goods directly from the countryside. Most stalls accept cash, contactless and mobile payments.

The market is at Pl. de San Juan de los Gascos, 11, in central Toro. It is easy to reach on foot from anywhere in the historic centre, and street parking is available in the surrounding streets.
