As Cunit's permanent municipal market, it keeps hours no market day can match: eleven hours a day from Monday to Saturday, so an after-work shop works as well as an early one, then a short Sunday from 10am to 2pm. Unlike the Thursday street market on Carrer de Joaquim Mir, this one is under cover and open whatever the weather is doing on the coast. The building is wheelchair accessible, and stalls take cash, cards and mobile payments, so you do not need to find a cash machine first.

The counters cover fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and poultry, fish and seafood, cheese and dairy, and bread and bakery goods. That is a full week's shopping in one building, and with the Sunday session it covers the days a weekly street market cannot. Cunit is a small coastal town, so your best bet is staying close to the seafront or the town centre, where you can easily get around on foot. Cunit Platja puts you right by the beach and within easy reach of the market.
