Flix Municipal Market

The market occupies a covered hall at Plaça del Mercat, s/n, and trades three mornings a week rather than daily: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, 8am to 2pm. Fifteen stalls work under the one roof, which keeps the whole shop indoors. The hall is wheelchair accessible, and the market can be reached on +34 977 410 181. The 15 stalls cover the core of daily food shopping: fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and poultry, fish and seafood, cheese and dairy, and bread and bakery goods. With only three trading mornings a week, this is where Flix does its fresh shopping, and it is worth arriving well before the 2pm close rather than at the end of the morning.

Flix is a small town, so staying centrally is the simplest option: from the streets around Plaça del Mercat you can reach the hall and the riverside on foot. Town Centre puts you within easy reach of everything without needing a car.

If you want more choice, the towns along the Ebre nearby make an easy base for a morning trip to the market. Ebro River Area can also turn up rural stays across the valley.
