Markets in Aranjuez are a great way to explore this UNESCO World Heritage town beyond its famous royal palace and gardens. The Tagus river valley surrounding Aranjuez has long supplied Madrid with strawberries and asparagus, and you'll find that local produce at the weekly street markets here.
