Majadahonda street market
Markets in Majadahonda centre on one standout: the Mercadillo de Majadahonda. With 156 stalls spread across a 10,000 m² site in the city centre, it's considered one of the largest and most popular street markets in the Madrid region. The market runs every Tuesday from 9:30 to 14:00 and Saturday from 9:30 to 15:00.
You'll find stalls selling textiles, footwear, accessories, fresh fruits and vegetables, dried fruits, flowers, plants, crafts, and gifts. Most stalls accept card payments as well as cash. Arrive early if you want to avoid the crowds, especially on Saturdays.
What to expect at the Majadahonda market
The mercadillo is located between the streets of Las Erillas, La Luna, and Santa Catalina, right in the heart of town. Parking can be tricky on market days, so allow extra time or park a short walk away. All sellers display municipal licences, and complaint forms are available at each stall.
