5 markets tracked in Segorbe.
Markets in Segorbe offer more variety than the town's modest size might suggest, with five outdoor street markets covering everything from fresh produce and organic food to medieval-themed handicrafts and artisan goods. All five run on a weekly outdoor format, making Segorbe one of the more market-rich towns in the Castellón interior.
Segorbe sits in the Palancia valley, within easy reach of Sagunto and Castellón de la Plana, so it fits naturally into a longer market-focused day trip through the region.

Segorbe is a small city, so staying in the Town Centre puts you within easy walking distance of the markets and the main sights. For something with a bit more character, Historic Quarter is a good base and keeps you close to the cathedral and the old streets where local life plays out.
If you prefer a hotel booking sorted in advance, options are limited in Segorbe itself, so it's worth checking availability early or considering nearby Sagunto as a backup base with good road connections into the city.

Segorbe has five outdoor street markets, more than most towns of its size in the Castellón interior. They range from a 50-stall medieval market to a weekly agroecological fair, a monthly craft market and a general street market, so the choice depends on what you're shopping for rather than when you're free.
Saturday is the busiest day for markets in Segorbe, with three of the five trading, and Sunday also has three. Wednesday is the quietest day, with only the general street market open, and no market trades on a Monday or a Tuesday.
The Segorbe Medieval Market: María de Luna is the largest, with 50 stalls selling handicrafts, prepared foods and clothing against a medieval-themed backdrop. It runs from Thursday to Sunday, making it one of the few markets in town open across a full weekend.
Most markets in Segorbe open at 9am and close at 2pm, the standard morning slot for street markets across the province. Exact hours vary slightly by market, so it's worth checking the specific market's own page before setting out.
