Luque Supply Market

This municipal market in Luque sits on the town's main square, directly opposite the ayuntamiento. It is one of the smaller markets in Córdoba province, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in local character.

The surrounding Subbética region is one of Andalusia's top olive-growing areas, and you'll find that reflected in the stalls here. Olive oil from local producers is a reliable find. The butcher stall is known for house-made charcuterie including salchichón and tocino. A small bar serves coffee throughout the morning, making it a practical stop during a visit to the town.

If you'd prefer more choice, the nearby city of Córdoba, about 50 kilometres away, has plenty of hotels and makes a comfortable base for a day trip out to Luque.
