Where to stay in Los Llanos
Staying in the centre of Centro puts you within easy walking distance of the main market activity and plenty of cafés to rest between browsing. It's a compact town, so most accommodation options keep you close to where things happen.
If you prefer something with a bit more comfort, Avenida El Puente has a handful of well-placed hotels that are still very convenient for getting around on foot. Either way, you won't need a car to enjoy the markets here.

Municipal markets in Los Llanos
The Mercado de Los Llanos is the town's main covered market, located on Calle Ramón Pol near the Centro de la Salud. With around 25 stalls, it opens Monday to Friday from 6:00 to 14:30 and Saturdays from 6:00 to 15:00. Stalls sell fresh fruit and vegetables grown in the Aridane valley, alongside fish and seafood, meat and poultry, and bread and pastries. The market is cash-based and pet-friendly, making it a practical daily stop for locals.
Street markets in Los Llanos
The Argual Flea Market is a weekly outdoor market held in the Argual district, where vendors set out antiques, second-hand clothing, books, and handicrafts. It is a good option if you are looking for something beyond fresh food, and stall numbers vary week to week.
The Los Llanos Farmers Market runs outdoors on a weekly basis and focuses on fresh and organic produce, including locally grown fruit and vegetables. It is one of the few eco-friendly market options in La Palma and draws growers from across the island's western municipalities.
