Lerma is a small town, so staying central is the obvious move, and Town Centre puts you within easy walking distance of the Wednesday market and the ducal palace square where it takes place. The Parador de Lerma is the standout option, a converted 17th-century ducal palace right on the main square, and genuinely one of the better Paradors in Castile.

If the Parador is out of budget, look at smaller guesthouses and rural hotels just outside the old town, Lerma Outskirts, where you can find decent value and still be a short drive or walk from the market. Either way, Lerma is compact enough that location rarely causes problems.
