Can Boada Market

This is a neighbourhood market rather than a landmark one. Twenty-five stalls fill the building on Carrer d'Alexandre Galí, and the whole floor can be walked in a couple of minutes. It is one of the municipal markets in Terrassa, and unlike the open-air street markets in Terrassa it trades indoors six mornings a week, in the same hours every day, with no market-day to plan around.

Payment is straightforward. Stalls take cash, credit and debit cards, contactless and mobile payments, so you do not need to find a cash machine before you arrive. The building is wheelchair accessible.

The pescadería is the stall most people come in for, handling fish and seafood alongside the meat and poultry counters. Around them you'll find fresh fruit and vegetables, bread and bakery goods, and cheese and dairy. That is the full spread across 25 stalls, enough for a week's cooking without a supermarket.
