Markets in Breda
Girona, Catalonia
Breda markt draws locals and visitors to Carrer Nou every Sunday morning for the town's only market, a weekly street market with around 25 stalls. Located in the Selva comarca of Girona at the foot of the Montseny massif, this compact market is the social and commercial hub of Breda's week.

Where to stay in Breda
Breda is a small town, so your best bet is to stay close to the centre, where you can walk to the weekly market and the main sights with ease. Town Centre puts you right in the middle of things without any fuss.
If you prefer a bit more comfort or choice, the nearby town of Hostalric is just a few minutes away and has a handful of good options, or you can look at staying in Sant Celoni and making an easy day trip in.

Street markets in Breda
The Breda Weekly Market takes place every Sunday on Carrer Nou in the town centre, opening at 08:30. Around 25 stalls cover fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and poultry, bread and pastries, and cheese and dairy products. Arriving early gives you the best pick of seasonal produce and a quieter atmosphere before the town fills up. More information is available on the Breda town council website.
If you want to combine your visit with markets in the surrounding area, the towns of Hostalric and Arbucies both hold their own weekly markets and are a short drive from Breda. Use our markets near me tool to check what else is on nearby.
