Markets in Leganes

Las Batallas Market is the city's only municipal market, a permanent indoor hall with 25 stalls operating weekly from 9am to 2pm. Four street markets set up across Leganés during the week, and they divide fairly cleanly by what they sell. The largest, San Nicasio Street Market, runs 25 outdoor stalls of clothing, footwear and handicrafts, so it is the stop for affordable fashion rather than food. La Despensa de Madrid is the closest thing the city has to a farmers market, with 20 stalls of fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, organic products, cheese and dairy, and prepared foods.
