Markets in Vinaròs

Markets in Vinaròs centre around the town's Thursday tradition. This coastal town in northern Castellón province is known for its seafood, particularly the celebrated langostinos de Vinaròs, and its weekly markets give you a chance to pick up fresh catch and local produce straight from the source.

Both of Vinaròs's street markets set up every Thursday along Passeig de Fora del Forat, right by the seafront. Between them you'll find around 80 stalls selling everything from fresh fruit and vegetables to clothing, footwear and handicrafts. The food market starts early at 8:00 and wraps up by 14:00, so plan a morning visit. For more markets along the Castellón coast, nearby Benicarló and Peniscola also hold regular weekly markets.
