Puçol Weekly Market

Produce is the anchor of the Tuesday morning. Fruit and vegetable stands take up a good share of the 80 pitches, and they sit alongside cheese and dairy stalls and meat and poultry counters, which is enough to cover a household's week in one walk down the street.

The other half of the market is not food. Clothing and textiles, footwear and leather goods, and handicraft stalls all trade here, so the same trip that fills a shopping bag can also turn up a pair of shoes or a shirt.

Puçol is a small town, so accommodation options are limited locally. Staying in Town Centre puts you closest to the weekly market, and you can easily walk to the stalls without any fuss.

If you prefer more choice, the nearby city of Valencia is just a short drive or train ride away. Staying in El Cabañal or Ruzafa gives you a great base with plenty of hotels and easy transport links back to Puçol on market day.

The market runs along Calle El Cid in central Puçol, a few minutes' walk from the town centre in any direction. It is entirely outdoors with no covered hall, so trading is exposed to whatever the weather is doing that Tuesday, and the street is back to normal by mid-afternoon.
