Where to stay in Adra
Staying in the town centre puts you close to everything, and Town Centre is your best base for reaching the markets on foot. For something a little more relaxed, the seafront area around Adra Beach has plenty of accommodation options with easy access back into town.

Municipal markets in Adra
The Mercado de Abastos de Adra is Adra's indoor municipal market, operating from a fixed covered premises with four permanent stalls. Despite its small footprint, it covers the essentials: fresh fruit and vegetables sourced from the surrounding greenhouse region, meat and poultry, fish and seafood landed at the local port, and cheese and dairy. It is a practical stop for self-catering visitors or anyone wanting locally sourced provisions in one place.
Street markets in Adra
The Adra Flea Market is the largest market in town, with around 120 stalls set up outdoors on a weekly basis. Stalls carry fresh fruit and vegetables, cheese and dairy, bread and pastries, and footwear alongside a broad mix of general goods. It is the most practical choice for produce shopping outside the municipal market.
The Adra Antiques Market runs weekly as a separate outdoor event, drawing sellers specialising in antiques and second-hand items. Stall numbers are not confirmed, but the market has a distinct character from the flea market and is worth a separate visit for anyone with an interest in vintage finds.
If you are travelling along the coast, El Ejido also holds regular markets and is a short drive west along the N-340.
