Chipiona Ecological, Artisan and Second-Hand Market

Organic produce is the core of it, brought by regional growers who sell fruit and vegetables raised without chemicals. Artisan stalls sit alongside them with handmade work. The second-hand side is what separates this from a standard mercadillo: clothing, books and household odds and ends, where there is usually only one of each thing, so the early hours are the ones worth having.

Chipiona is a small, relaxed seaside town, so staying central puts you within easy walking distance of the market and the beach. The Town Centre is your best bet, with plenty of small hotels and hostales close to everything. If you want something with a bit more comfort, Hotel Chipiona Plaza is a solid option a short walk from the park.

For a coastal feel, look for accommodation along the seafront near Playa de Regla, where you can enjoy the beach before or after your market visit. Wherever you stay, distances are short, so you won't need a car to get around.
