Punta Umbría Municipal Market

Punta Umbría sits where the Odiel marshes meet the Atlantic, and the town has long been tied to fishing. The market reflects that connection: seafood is the centrepiece, with local fishermen supplying the stalls with the morning's catch. It's a small, neighbourhood-focused market catering mainly to local residents, though visitors doing a self-catering stay will find it just as useful.

Fish and shellfish are the standout products. You'll often find species landed that morning off the Huelva coast, and the vendors are familiar with what they're selling. Beyond seafood, the stalls carry fresh fruit and vegetables, and there's a meat and poultry counter for everyday shopping.

The market is at Calle Ancha, 58, in the town centre, walkable from most parts of Punta Umbría. Buses connect the town to Huelva city, with stops close to the market. If you're driving, street parking is available nearby, though spaces can fill up quickly in summer.
