Markets in Guaro
Malaga, Andalusia
Markets in Guaro centre around one weekly street market in this small white village in the Guadalhorce Valley, inland from Málaga. Every Thursday, stalls line Avenida de Andalucía with clothing, footwear, handicrafts and books.
Guaro sits at around 400 metres above sea level, surrounded by olive groves and almond trees. The village is also known for its Luna Mora festival in September, when the streets are lit by thousands of candles and a traditional Moorish handicraft market takes over the old quarter.
