Boquetillo Market is the largest of the three indoor markets, with 25 stalls on Avenida de Mijas near the town centre. It sells fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, poultry, fish, seafood, and bread and pastries, and includes a food area for coffee or a cooked meal.

Fuengirola Municipal Wholesale Market on Avenida Dulcinea is primarily trade-facing and stocks meat, fish, fresh fruit, vegetables, and cheese and dairy. The Saturday Flea Market is the second largest outdoor event, with around 300 stalls focused on antiques, handicrafts, clothing, footwear, and books. It is a strong option for anyone interested in second-hand or vintage goods rather than fresh produce. The Sunday Market follows a similar character with 132 stalls selling footwear, handicrafts, jewellery, nuts and dried fruits, and clothing, making the weekend a particularly good time to visit if browsing is your priority.

The remaining three street markets each have their own distinct focus. The Ecological Market runs weekly with 15 stalls dedicated to organic produce, fresh vegetables, fruit, bread and pastries, and cheese and dairy, making it one of the few markets in the area with a certified organic emphasis. The Summer Artisan and Ecological Market adds a seasonal option with 20 stalls of handicrafts and organic produce during the warmer months. The Fuengirola Street Market covers clothing, footwear, handicrafts, jewellery, and antiques across 40 stalls on a weekly basis.
