Street markets in Istán
The Istán Street Market takes place every Saturday along Avenida Juan Carlos I, with around 20 outdoor stalls selling clothing, footwear and handicrafts. It is a cash-friendly, low-key market where you can browse at leisure without the crowds typical of larger coastal towns. Parking is available nearby, making it easy to combine with a short walk around the village. If you want to extend the day, Monda also holds a weekly market and is a short drive through the hills.
