Sabinillas Sunday Flea Market

This is a weekly street market, open air and Sunday only, with 100 stalls laid out along Cam. los Baños in the San Luis de Sabinillas part of Manilva. Everything is cash, so bring notes and small change before you set off. The ground is level and step-free, so the market is wheelchair accessible from end to end. Five hours is the full window, and the antiques tables tend to be picked over first, so an early start pays.

Antiques and bric-a-brac are the reason most people come, alongside jewellery and second-hand books and magazines. Around them you'll find clothing and textiles, footwear and leather goods, and handicrafts. A run of stalls sells fresh fruit and fresh vegetables, and there are prepared foods and coffee if you want a break part way round. With 100 stalls it takes about an hour to walk properly, longer if you stop to haggle.
