Nerja Sunday Flea Market, the Rastro de Nerja, sets up every Sunday from 8am to 2pm on the Almijara grounds, where C. Gaviota meets Calle del Mirto in Nerja. It is the largest of the town's street markets at 120 stalls, and the only one trading on a Sunday. Antiques are what pull people out to it: this is a rastro in the proper sense, a second-hand market rather than a produce market.
What you'll find at Nerja Sunday Flea Market
Antiques and second-hand goods lead, alongside clothing and textiles, footwear and leather, and handicrafts across the 120 stalls. Nothing here is a food market: for fruit, vegetables and fish you want a different day in Nerja. Everything trades in the open air, with no covered hall to duck into if the Sunday turns wet.
Where to stay in Nerja
Staying in the old town puts you within easy walking distance of the Sunday flea market, and Old Town has plenty of hotels and apartments to suit most budgets. Hotel Balcon de Europa is a reliable choice right by the seafront, with great views over the coast.
If you prefer something quieter, Burriana Beach is a short walk from the market and gives you easy access to the beach after you've done your browsing.

What day is Nerja Sunday Flea Market?
Nerja Sunday Flea Market runs every Sunday, from 8am to 2pm, and it trades weekly all year rather than seasonally. Sunday is the only day the 120 stalls set up on the Almijara grounds, so a midweek walk out to C. Gaviota will find the site empty.
What time does Nerja Sunday Flea Market finish?
Nerja Sunday Flea Market finishes at 2pm, having opened at 8am, a six-hour window every Sunday on the Almijara grounds. Nothing runs later in the day and nothing runs on the Saturday, so the whole of the market's trading week is that one morning at C. Gaviota.
Where is Nerja Sunday Flea Market?
