Staying in Town Centre puts you within easy walking distance of the weekly market and the main commercial streets. It's a relaxed base with plenty of cafes and restaurants to fill the time between browsing stalls.

If you prefer being closer to the beach, Las Brisas is a good option, and you can reach the town centre in a short drive or taxi. For something more polished, Hotel La Cortesana is a solid choice that keeps you well-connected to everything San Pedro has to offer.

The San Pedro Alcántara ACUAM Market has a different purpose entirely: handicrafts, jewellery, clothing and footwear rather than produce. It sets up outdoors on Avenida Carlos Cano, on the Paseo Marítimo beside Restaurante El Alabardero, so it is a seafront browse rather than a town centre errand.

It runs four days a week. Wednesday is the short session, 09:00 to 14:00, while Friday, Saturday and Sunday run from 10:00 through to 18:00 and take in the afternoon. Marbella's tourism office publishes the official ACUAM listing for the municipality.

San Pedro Alcántara is part of the broader Malaga province market circuit, and the markets in Marbella and Estepona are both a short drive along the coast.

The municipal hall on Calle Caravaca trades Monday to Saturday from 08:00, closing at 14:00 and at 12:00 on Saturdays, and the ACUAM street market sets up on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, which covers the one day the hall is shut.

The ACUAM street market in San Pedro Alcántara runs on four days: Wednesday from 09:00 to 14:00, then Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00. The covered municipal market keeps its own separate hours, opening Monday to Saturday from 08:00 for fruit, vegetables, fish, meat and bread.
