Markets in Pasajes
Gipuzkoa, Basque Country · 1 markets tracked
Azoka is the single market serving Pasajes (Pasaia in Basque), a compact fishing port just east of Donostia-San Sebastián on the Gipuzkoa coast. The town's long connection to the sea is reflected in what you'll find at the stalls: freshly landed fish and seafood sit alongside meat, fruit and vegetables for everyday shopping.
Where to stay in Pasajes
Pasajes is a small, atmospheric port town, and most visitors find it easiest to stay just across the bay in San Sebastián, where you'll have far more accommodation options and easy access by local bus or car. Try Parte Vieja (Old Town) for a central base, or Gros for a slightly quieter neighbourhood with a great local feel.
If you'd prefer to stay closer to Pasajes itself, Pasajes de San Juan is the most charming part of town, right on the waterfront, with a handful of small guesthouses within easy walking distance of the local market area.
