Costa Teguise Agricultural Market

Fruit and vegetables are the core of it, with organic produce sold alongside. Cheese and dairy stalls sit with them, and there are bread and bakery stalls plus a few selling prepared food you can eat while you walk round.

The market is outdoors on the square with no building over it, so the weather is part of the visit, and the four and a half hours it trades for are the whole of it.

Costa Teguise is the closest resort area to the market, and staying Costa Teguise puts you just a short drive or taxi ride away. The Barceló Teguise Beach is a solid choice if you want a comfortable base with easy access to both the market and the beach.

If you prefer somewhere quieter, the old town of Teguise itself is worth considering, and Teguise Town Centre has a handful of rural houses and small hotels that keep you right at the heart of the Sunday market action.
