Markets in Premià de Mar

The Mercat Municipal de Sant Joan is Premià de Mar's main covered food hall, with around 15 stalls trading indoors on Gran Via de Lluís Companys. It runs Tuesday to Saturday mornings and stocks fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and poultry, fish and seafood, and cheese and dairy. The market accepts contactless payments alongside cash and is wheelchair accessible. For official opening hours and any closures, the Premià de Mar council website is the most reliable source.

Premià de Mar Weekly Market is the larger of the two street markets, with around 70 outdoor stalls running once a week. It sells fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and poultry, cheese and dairy, and bread and pastries, making it a practical alternative to the municipal hall for everyday shopping.

Marina Premià Market is a smaller outdoor street market with a different focus entirely: stalls here sell handicrafts, jewellery, and clothing rather than food. It also runs weekly and suits a browse rather than a grocery shop.
