Markets in Sorbas

The Plaza del Mercado de Abastos is the town's food market, an indoor hall at Calle Andalucia 11 in the centre. It has around 25 stalls and trades three mornings a week, on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, from 8am to 3pm. Stalls sell fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and poultry, fish and seafood, cheese and dairy, and bread and bakery goods, which makes it the place for a full shop rather than a top-up.

The Sorbas Weekly Market sets up outdoors on Plaza de la Constitución every Thursday from 9am to 2pm, with around 20 stalls. It leans towards fresh fruit and vegetables, clothing and textiles, and footwear and leather, so it complements the food hall rather than repeating it.
