Pétrola is a small village, so accommodation options within the village itself are very limited. You'll find a better base by staying in Albacete City Centre, around 40 kilometres away, where you have plenty of hotels to choose from and easy road access to Pétrola.
If you prefer to stay closer, the town of Almansa is a reasonable alternative, with a handful of guesthouses and a straightforward drive to the village for market days.

The Pétrola Municipal Street Market runs every Saturday from 08:30 with around 25 outdoor stalls focused on clothing, footwear and handicrafts. There is no fresh produce section; the market leans firmly toward textiles and handmade goods. Bring cash, as card payment is not standard at the stalls. The site is wheelchair accessible and there is a children's play area close by.
