Villarrobledo Municipal Market

The market runs weekly, Saturdays only, and everything is outdoors. Arriving in the first couple of hours gives you the fullest run of stalls, because traders begin breaking down before the 3pm finish. Dogs are welcome and the site is wheelchair accessible. See the other street markets in the town if you are building a weekend around it.

Clothing and textiles, footwear and leather goods account for a large share of the 40 stalls, the sort of place to replace a pair of espadrilles or pick up cheap basics. Alongside them you'll find handicrafts, books and magazines, and antiques, which is the part worth slowing down for if you like rummaging. There are no fresh food counters here, so this is not the market for fruit, fish or cheese.

This is a compact town, so a central base puts you within walking distance of Calle de la Feria. Look at options around the town centre if you want to walk to the market on Saturday morning, or check availability along Avenida de Albacete if you are arriving by car.
