Reus Central Market

The hall trades six days a week rather than on a single market day, and the hours are not the same each day: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday run 8am to 3:30pm, Thursday and Friday to 8pm, and it is closed on Sunday. The building is covered and step-free, with wheelchair access throughout and parking for shoppers arriving by car. Stalls take cash and mobile payment.

You'll find everyday staples across the 35 counters: seasonal fruit and vegetables, freshly cut meat and poultry, fish and seafood, cheese and dairy, and bread from the bakery stalls. Between them they cover what most people would otherwise buy at a grocery store. On Mondays and Saturdays, the Marchants market sets up around the outside of the building, adding extra stalls to the mix. Arrive before 11am for the best selection, especially at the fish counter.

Staying central is the smart move for the Reus Central Market. The City Centre puts you within easy walking distance, and options like Hotel Gaudí are a solid choice a short walk from the hall.

If you want a bit more comfort or variety, Eixample has some good alternatives a short stroll away. Either way, you won't need a car to reach the market.

The market sits on Carrer de Josep Sardà i Cailà, s/n, in central Reus, within walking distance of the main squares and bus connections.
