Saturday antiques market on Passeig de Prim in central Reus, trading from 7.30am to 2pm. Around 25 stalls of vintage finds, jewellery and second-hand books.
Brocanters Market of Reus is a weekly antiques and brocante market that sets up every Saturday from 7.30am to 2pm along Passeig de Prim in Reus. Around 25 stalls line the paseo between Plaça de les Oques and Carrer de Mare Molas, selling vintage furniture, old jewellery, second-hand books and collectibles. It is the antiques morning among the street markets in Reus, and traders are out well before the shops open.
The market started at Peixateries Velles in 1994 and moved to the paseos in 2000, making it one of the longest-running brocante markets in Tarragona province.
What you'll find at Brocanters Market of Reus
Stalls deal in antiques, handicrafts, jewellery, books and magazines, and clothing and textiles. Expect old postcards, vinyl, retro furniture and ceramics alongside the book tables. Stock is whatever traders have turned up that week, so the mix changes from one Saturday to the next and regulars walk the full length before buying.
Where to stay in Reus
Reus is a compact city, so staying central means you can walk to the Brocanters Market with ease. The City Centre puts you close to the market and the rest of the old town, and it's where you'll find most of the city's accommodation options. Hotel Gaudí is a solid choice right in the heart of things, named after the city's most famous son.
If you prefer something quieter, the area around Eixample is just a short stroll from the centre and offers a calmer base without sacrificing convenience.
