The hours are the same all seven days: 8am to 12pm, Sunday included, so this is a morning market and the last hour is the quiet one. The building is covered and single-level, and the market is listed as wheelchair accessible. Stalls take cash and mobile payments.

The 20 stalls cover fruit and vegetables, meat and poultry, fish and seafood, and bread and bakery goods. There's also a food court inside, where prepared food and a coffee are on offer without leaving the building. Arrive before 11am for the best selection, especially at the fish counter, since the whole market shuts at midday.

Albox is a small town, so your best bet is to stay close to the centre, where you'll be within easy walking distance of the market and the main square. Try Town Centre for the most convenient base, or look at options just outside the centre if you prefer something quieter.

If you'd rather stay a little further out and explore the surrounding Almanzora Valley, Almanzora Valley has some rural accommodation that makes for a peaceful stay, with the town easy to reach by car.

The market is on Calle Andalucía 34 in central Albox, within easy walking distance of the town centre and the main square. Street parking is available in the surrounding streets, and it's easiest before 10am when the morning shop is at its busiest.
