Vera Beach Night Market

Stalls here cover two things: clothing and textiles, and footwear and leather goods. Expect rails of summer clothes and beachwear, sandals, belts and bags, with no produce or food section. Everything is out in the open air along the avenue, with no covered hall. Carry cash, since card acceptance varies from one trader to the next.

Staying close to the beach puts you in the best position for the night market. Vera Playa is the obvious choice, with plenty of hotels and apartments right along the coast, and you can walk to the market with ease. Hotel Vera Playa Club is a solid option if you want a proper hotel close to the action.

If you prefer a quieter base, the town of Vera itself is only a short drive away and tends to be cheaper. Vera Town Centre has a good selection of smaller hotels and hostels that work well as a budget-friendly alternative.

The market sets up on Avenida Ciudad de Alicante, in the Vera Playa resort strip below Vera town, close enough to the beachfront apartments and hotels that most people staying there walk to it. The day of the week is not confirmed in our records, so check locally before you set out, and note that nothing runs here outside June to August.
