Pozo Alcón Municipal Market

The market occupies a covered ground-floor hall beside the town hall. It's the main food shopping point for local residents and a practical stop for self-catering visitors in the area. The plaza outside adds a social feel, and the entrance is wheelchair accessible. Both cash and card payments are accepted.

The 12 stalls cover everyday essentials. You'll find fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and poultry, fish and seafood, cheese and dairy, and freshly baked bread. The produce reflects the agricultural landscape around Pozo Alcón, where olive groves and almond orchards supply much of what ends up on the stalls.

Pozo Alcón is a small town, so your best bet is staying close to the centre where you can walk to the market and the main square with ease. Town Centre puts you right where you need to be, with local bars and restaurants close by.
