The market trades six days a week under one roof, so you shop out of the sun and out of the rain. Fifteen stalls is small enough to walk end to end in a few minutes, and the pattern of the week matters more than the size: weekdays give you six and a half hours from 8:30, while Saturday is a shorter morning that finishes at 13:30.

The 15 stalls cover daily food shopping: fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and poultry, fish and seafood, and bread and bakery. Fish and meat are the counters worth arriving early for on a weekday, since the market runs from 8:30 while the Saturday session does not begin until 9:00. There is no separate opening for Sunday trade, so a weekend visit means Saturday morning.

Staying near the seafront keeps the market within an easy walk. The Town Centre is a great base, with the market just a short walk away and plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby. If you want something more comfortable, Hotel Las Pirámides and IPV Palace & Spa are both reliable options with easy access to the market and the beach.

The market is at Avenida de los Boliches 101, 29640 Fuengirola, on the main avenue running through the Los Boliches neighbourhood. It is an indoor hall rather than a street stall, so it is the same building whatever the weather, and it is wheelchair accessible.
