Municipal market in Sitges
The Mercat Municipal sits close to the train station, making it easy to reach on foot. Inside you'll find stalls covering everything from seafood and cured meats to bread, olives and seasonal fruit from the Penedès region. It's a good first stop before heading to the beach or exploring the old town.
Street markets in Sitges
Sitges has two regular street market days. The Thursday market along Passeig de Vilafranca focuses on clothing, leather goods, jewellery and handicrafts, with around 40 stalls setting up from early morning. On Saturdays, Plaça de Catalunya hosts both the Mercat de la Terra (an organic food market) and a smaller weekly produce market. If you're visiting nearby Vilanova i la Geltrú or Vilafranca del Penedès, it's worth timing your trip to catch one of these.
